Patrick has been in the industry for over 10 years, working with large corporate clients to mom-and-pop shops throughout the US, and individual tax clients from all backgrounds. He began his career in accounting after 5 years of teaching math, realizing it was his love of numbers and helping others that he was most passionate about. His strengths are in financial statement preparation, personal, trust, non-profit & corporate tax preparation, and tax planning services.

Patrick is an Iowa native, graduating from St. Ambrose University and spent 5 years in public education before switching to the exciting world of accounting.  

Patrick enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Mary, and their three amazing daughters, Hadley, Reese, and Eliana.  When not working, you can find Patrick coaching pee-wee soccer, attending softball games, or just spending time with his family throughout the Des Moines metro.

Hope joined our team in June of 2023 and has been a source of knowledge for proper accounting of complex transactions, tax preparation and reviews, and year-end clean up projects.  Her 20+ years of experience in public & private accounting is the perfect addition to our team.

Nathan joined our team in November of 2025.  With 10+ years of experience in tax, accounting, and payroll, Nathan is a skilled tax accountant that we are excited to have with us.

Rodolfo joined our team in January of 2023 and assisted us in tax preparation and monthly bookkeeping tasks.

Michelle is our payroll extraordinaire, ensuring your employees are paid timely and keeping the IRS off your back on payroll taxes.  Her skills are not limited to payroll as she helps us immensely in bookkeeping, greeting clients, and is our in-house IT guru.

When Michelle is not in the office, she loves spending time with her husband, kids and grandchildren.

Peter Newberry joined our team in November 2025.  With 10+ years of experience in business finance and sales, Peter will be assisting you in bookkeeping and tax preparation.

Laura is the lifeblood of our firm.  Her uncanny ability for remembering people will have you feeling at home when you walk in our doors.  

When Laura is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with significant other, her boys, and her 5-lb. Yorkshire.
